Harlem Fashion Row 2012 Fashion Show

 

 

The 2013 Ashtyn Collection was amazing to see last night at Harlem Fashion Row. The pieces were amazing and the colors are just what we need from lime greens to Tangerine orange, and my favorite royal blue and a host of others. Lastisha Daring has always been a innovative person always steeping beyond the normal fashion trends and steeping into the future ans as a buyer and also a stylist these are the great pieces that we look for as woman. We want that timeless piece that will never become outdated and we can Rock with other items in our wardrobe. So to put it in a nut shell the show was amazing. In attendance were stars Vanessa Williams, Nicole Murphy, and many others. The people looked fabulous in their fashion trends and great style. I was happy to be in the presence of all these great fashionistas. This show has showed me to continue to live out my dream and let no one steer me from my vision. Shout out to Latisha Daring of Ashtyn clothing line. Great job.

 

Other Designers at the show with amazing lines were Omar Salam, Joseph Bethune, nzinga Knight. All these designers really Rocked their pieces down the runway last night.   

Missoni Pieces On A Dime Budget

 

Woman you know those little stores that you continue to walk, by well you need to stop and go in. You never know what you might find. I have just been curious and I have found great statement pieces, name brand pieces, and brands that most people would kill to have. I have seen entertainers, stars on TV wearing H&M brands and designers names that have helped to put there brands into Target at reasonable prices, so whats wrong with going into a bargain store. If they can do it so can you and I.

Motherhood

Ok so I got up this morning at 6:30am to get the kids ready for there first day of school. There ages 5 years and soon to be 8 years. First had to fix breakfast, then I had to get the tub prepared for the 8 year old so that he could wash himself up. I am feeling that he is getting to big for mommy to wash so he did it himself. He came out and i got the under clothes ready ironed his uniform and then had him put all that on while I got the five year old in the bath tub. She brushed her teeth and then I washed her up. We headed to get the hair done. I wanted to do braids but I knew pony tails were quicker. I then got her dressed yellow shirt and blue uniform skirt, with the knee socks and blue metallic sneakers from Target $22.99. Great piece for a child to have. I had to then pack the bags and ensure that they had everything they needed. We saw that it was 8:00AM so we headed out the door. I get to the school and find the kids teachers and classes and met with all staff from last year with greetings, as Anilah gets on the line a school staff came around and says to the teacher Mr. Ryan did you give the notices to the parents that today is a half day for Pre K and Kindergarten WOW!. This is something so Anilah has to be picked up at 12:00 today. WOW WOW WOW! I am thinking that I have a some hours of piece and quiet to my self and then this and to top it all off I was directed into the auditorium were there was a meeting until 10:00am. This school never surprises me. So that leaves me two hours down town and I rush home for that cup of coffee that is needed. As I sit down to write on my blog about Fashion updates I had to share my story the life of a mother day in day out. Ladies keep it fashionable.
