I have a 5 year old and a 8 year old and yes they are my life, but they are also the force to keep me pushing in this industry despite all obstacles that come my way. Christmas Shopping The Smart Way

I have encountered some great places to get gifts. Target has recently introduced the Neiman Marcus collection. I witnessed yesterday some great tops, dresses, things for your kids and items for the dog. The prices are reasonable as well. Another store I love is Marshall's yes people get frustrated and don't want to go through the racks but trust me you will find great pieces taking your time and go through the racks as I do. I love old Navy as well they have continuous sales on clothes, coats, jewelry. Prices range $10.99 to $40.00. If you shopping on a budget don't over look these great stores.

I will give away one of my secrets stop in those little bargain stores that you say to your self I'm not going in there, trust you find the best treasures in small places. Open up your mind and board en your horizon from the same old tie, shirt or house coats and slipper. You know what your spouse, or family member likes so don't go get them the wrong gift, get the right gift.

My Drive and Passion have alwyas ran neck to neck. I wake up in the morning with fashion on the brain, i go to sleep with it as well and most of my thoughts are how can I get to the level that I want to be on in this amzing industry of fashion and style. I want to be a designer. I want to design my own line and the thoughts are going so face in my head that time is assing me by without the resources. It is hard when you work full time, you are a full time mom, a fashion blogger and trying to keep your post up on facebook and instagram. Its all work and it all involves time, education, preparation, skill, and most important time management. How do I put them all together to succeed at one of the most important things in my life.

My daily life is full but I somehow seem to always maintain and believe that if I continue to push hard, I will get to were I am trying to go. I have always loved fashion since a small child. I knew that it was what I wanted to do since walking in my mothers heels to spraying her perfumes, to watching her sew clothing and decorate parties for the locals in the neighborhood. I then grew up and attended The Fashion Industries High School and learning pattern making, and some designing. I love it all and how it all comes from a simple thought from your head, to a paper, then to an actual design. I have all that in my head and I will continue to push daily, whether I rock my hot outfits daily, also by posting styles of fashion that are hot and upcoming and informing woman of all kinds that they too can look fabulous daily and not spend alot if they are on a budget. The 2013 Ashtyn Collection was amazing to see last night at Harlem Fashion Row. The pieces were amazing and the colors are just what we need from lime greens to Tangerine orange, and my favorite royal blue and a host of others. Lastisha Daring has always been a innovative person always steeping beyond the normal fashion trends and steeping into the future ans as a buyer and also a stylist these are the great pieces that we look for as woman. We want that timeless piece that will never become outdated and we can Rock with other items in our wardrobe. So to put it in a nut shell the show was amazing. In attendance were stars Vanessa Williams, Nicole Murphy, and many others. The people looked fabulous in their fashion trends and great style. I was happy to be in the presence of all these great fashionistas. This show has showed me to continue to live out my dream and let no one steer me from my vision. Shout out to Latisha Daring of Ashtyn clothing line. Great job.

 

Other Designers at the show with amazing lines were Omar Salam, Joseph Bethune, nzinga Knight. All these designers really Rocked their pieces down the runway last night.
